Duke is an awesome dog! He loves people and just wants to hang out with you. Going for walks, playing fetch, learning tricks, snuggling - whatever you want to do is cool with Duke! This sweet boy already knows a few basic commands like "sit", "lie down" and "shake", and he's so eager to please he could easily learn lots more! Duke also likes playing fetch, and he brings the ball back to you and happily lets you take it from his mouth. But what he loves most of all is just hanging out with people!
Duke is a handsome boy with his lean legs and body and sleek black and tan coat (his looks suggest some Doberman Pinscher). And he's just the right size (not too big and not too small) to be a great travel buddy! Duke sits in his kennel day after day, watching people walk by and hoping one of them will choose him. But so far, no one has. Maybe that's because he's waiting for you?
Duke is eagerly awaiting adoption at the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area. It's a nice shelter, but he's hoping he won't have to wait much longer for his forever family! Please stop by the shelter and meet Duke - you're guaranteed to fall in love!

Duke is already neutered, microchipped and current on all his vaccinations. He will have a small adoption fee, and it's a donation to the shelter so they can continue their life-saving rescue work! What a great deal!
